Since the 2004 vintage four single-grape reserves are produced from falanghina, piedirosso, greco di tufo and aglianico. Each of these reserves originates from vineyards which are managed following very strict rules needed to ensure high-quality productions.
The Coste di Cuma is produced from our own grapes coming from two vineyards extending over a total 4 hectares and managed with a monolateral guyot system with 3,500 plants/hectare. The grapes are harvested the second week of October and are selected on a picking conveyor. Fermentation takes place in French durmast barriques where the wine matures for six months.
The Montegauro® is a reserve of Piedirosso dei Campi Flegrei, whose grapes are grown in the municipality of Pozzuoli along the shores of Lake Averno, one of the four volcanic lakes in the Phlegraean Fields. The Piedirosso, also known as Per' 'e Palummo, is hand-harvested starting the second week of October and selected on the picking conveyor at the winery. Fermentation occurs at 22-24° C, after which the wine is matured in French durmast barriques for about 12 months. It is then refined in steel before bottling.
The Quartodiluna® is a cru of Greco di Tufo docg. The grapes are hand-harvested the second or third week of October and are selected on the picking conveyor at the winery. The must is fermented in French durmast barriques where it matures for another six months.
The Quartodisole is produced from Aglianico grapes grown in the municipality of Castelfranci, in the area of Taurasi, hand-harvested and selected on the picking conveyor at the winery. The must is fermented at 22-24° C, after which the wine matures for about 12 months. It is then refined in steel before bottling.
