This is the area where Grotta del Sole buys the grapes for the production of Gragnano and Lettere of the Sorrento Peninsula, doc since 1994. The Gragnano and Lettere wines are reds typical of the Neapolitan tradition, praised by Mario Soldati and Luigi Veronelli, and cited in many films like Poverty and Nobility by Toto'. These can be considered the "new" wines of Campania (not novello), made by traditional vinification but offered in the month of November. This doc was also born thanks to the dedication of our company. In this area we worked and continue to work patiently in order to incentive and recover farmers from the towns of Gragnano, Lettere, Casola and Pimonte. We buy grapes from about 80 trusted partners for a total production of 2,600 quintals of grapes.
